Garage for My Toys

I wanted to protect my "Toys" from the Tennessee sun, rain, ice and occasional snow. Since the Motor Home is around 12 feet tall and 38 feet long the building had to be large enough to accommodate my present and future dreams.

The building is 40' wide X 60' long with a 16' clear span. The most economical structure was a pole barn. We poured a concrete footing and a 5 inch reinforced floor on a 12inch crushed rock base. The building is insulated in case I want to heat it for any reason. The outside skin is painted metal with a limited warranty of 20 years. The overhead doors are 1 10'X10' and 2 doors 12'X14'

In order to back in to the garage straight I mounted a small spot light on the back wall 6 feet off the floor and lined it up with the driver side mirror. As long as I can see the light along the wall of the coach in the mirror I am on track. I can park within 6 inches to the centerline without any help.
